Jamie served in the National Guard and did a tour in Iraq for 2004- 05.
John, her husband is in the Army and stationed at Ft Wainwright in Fairbanks Alaska.

Maybe so... it took her 40 minutes to get that big fish off the bottom in 130 foot of ocean... SHe did good!
Wow! That is a gigantic halibut! I never thought halibut could get that big and Jamie is without a doubt, one strong woman to have caught this one. Her physical training as a National Guard must have helped.
