It must be time for Moose to be out and About!

Driving home tonight I saw 7 count them 7 Moose!

They were all grazing

Walking across the Highway

Hiding Behind Trees

Ducking from Cars

One guy pulled over to take pictures and the Troopers pulled over,
made him move his car and get out of the water with the moose!

Now that is the picture I wish I could have shared with you
But the Trooper was in no mood to have us both stopped on the Highway!

Wow, you really need to be careful on your area roads. Nice pictures
Do you have a population explosion of moose? I see spring has arrived in Homer.
Good Morning Debra,Loved the title and of course the pictures are great. I have heard that these big guys are a serious threat to drivers. They sort of decide when they are going to cross the street based on something other than their own safety. I hate to see animals injured but they have also hurt a lot of drivers and passengers. Maybe we could get signs posted that says," Don't cross the street when there is traffic". And then we could use some of the money from the Bridge to Nowhere to teach the Moose to read the signs, :) Enjoyed the post. These creatures are amazing.
Yes Spring has sprung and the moose are loose! Seven moose on the road is something to think about... and watch for.. thank you all for stopping by and checking them out!
Debra - The photos that you and Gerry post of moose, simply amaze me! I can't even imagine living where life is that wonderfully wild!
Hello Mryl...Thank you so much... Where is Gerry?
Debra,
I have been mesmerized by the number 7 of late. I also made a comment in a recent post of mine about hoping to post a collage of 7 moose some time soon. I could not believe that you saw 7 moose in one single day! Thank you for this mesmerizing post! I think your post help answer a premonition of mine. :)
