I thought this was pretty interesting... it is a news story from the Alaska Dispatch and they posted the video on You tube... Beautiful Video showing the ice is growing in the Bering Sea this year more than usual....... this winter the Bering Sea has had an unusually productive ice-making season....
This is scientific evidence and not opinion... it is fact... watch it and see it for yourself....

Wonder if Al Gore has seen it.
Did you all listen to the very end of the YOU TUBE video? It says more ice than usual but Not Enough to Effect the Overall Melting Trend. Not Enough. It is still melting! What used to be all white is now just gray because the ice is not thick but is new and thin. We have a serious problem here. Science and videos do prove it.
I hope we don't wait and see! That could be disastrous. The last ice age ended when there were about a million people on earth. Add seven billion people, millions of factories, and millions of cars, and a logical person couldn't help but think that we and our activities are having an effect on the Earth, perhaps one that Mother and Father Nature can't keep up with.
Also, don't confuse climate with weather. Weather is local, and climate is several weathers. If you remember your science from eighth grade, you should remember that warm air holds more moisture than cold air, so with global warming, there will be more moisture in the atmosphere, and that water has to fall somewhere, either as snow or rain.
The weird local weather systems that we have had this year have all been predicted by the various climate scenarios and computer programs, including an increase in ice and glaciers in some areas, but not enough to tie up enough moisture.
As we have seen for the past decade, videos and pictures don't necessarily prove anything because they can be altered by ingenious people using computer programs. That's why it's necessary to have blid peer-reviewed research from reputable researchers and research institutions.
We have a higher than normal snowpack in the Sierra Mountains, which is where San Diego gets about half of its water supply. Unfortunately, it's not enough to put an end to our drought.
If you want to watch another video, watch the video of the polar bears starving to death because the ice shelves are melting earlier than normal, doing away with their hunting and cub-rearing areas. They are not able to catch enough to eat to get them through the harsh winters and thus starve to death.
Russel I understand your passion and repsect you... but I live up here and last year was the coldest of record and this year wasnt far behind... and there are more polar bears than ever up north... polar bears get their food from the sea not on top of it... again.. I dont know everything and dont try to act like I do... but there are a lot of people with their own agenda who have maniupated the data and scared the children to make tons of money... I think time will tell the story...
when I was in high school they said the world was going to freeze and we were going to have an ice age...they also said california would drop off into the sea and Kansas would be beachfront property... none of that came true...
Weird global warming seems to be really making those icebergs larger... Oh wait, that can't happen it has to be colder to do that.
