Dick Synhorst was a very special person with a zest for living, endless energy and a ton of corny jokes and sayings...
Shoot Low Sheriff they're riding Shetlands (one of my favorites)
He died March 16th 2008 from chronic leukemia...
Dick was robust and hard working... whether he was selling real estate or mowing his lawn he put everything into it...He had a Big Lawn with a Big View!
He and Too Tall Tom Hall quit Real Estate to develop land and they loved it... quite a pair to draw to... they earned their nick names.... the "Dirt Dogs"
Dick was also an accomplished auctioneer. He did major auctions for Ducks Unlimited and such but his favorites were the ones to raise money for people who needed to pay hospital bills or folks who had lost their homes in fires.... He was the King of dessert auctions... he could get 500 bucks for a warm pie.... and then get them to donate it back! If things started to lag he would tell a really bad joke and by bad I mean so stupid people would feel sorry for him and the bidding would perk back up to take him off the hook.... it always worked...
His sweet wife Nancy still thinks those jokes are funny!
So on this day we remember you and we miss your corny jokes, your smile and your twinkling blue eyes....
We miss you and will never forget you.....Mr. Synhorst

I am sorry Debra about the loss of your friend. He sounds like he left behind a lot of love and laughter for his friends and family. Those two things will carry you all through the time of tears.
