That is really cool. I read Palin's book and part of what I liked most was having insight into living in Alaska. This is the closest I will get to a moose. My best friend named one of her two new lab pups "Moose."
When I went on a camping trip in Jasper we had moose wander through the camp site during the night. They are huge and certainly not something to want to mess with. Sorry your spring is delayed aa bit longer.
Thanks for sharing. The moose would have felt right at home in Maryland this winter.
This winter sure seems to have lasted longer than most. Cabin fever seems to be rampant! Nice photos.
Debra, this Moose looks right at home in the snow. Hopefully, it will be the last snow this year for you before Spring. Nice Photos.
I like your story and your pictures. Hang in there; spring will come!
Neat shots, Debra :) I couldn't imagine seeing a moose on a daily basis!
Debi
Debra, great photos! I also liked the narrative with it!
Hello Everyone... this was a pretty thick snow... that moose kept right on eating! Didnt seem to bother him/her too much.... bothered me more... we really thought Spring was here...supposed to get a couple more feet today! yikes... thank you all for stopping by!
Debra, wonderful pictures and a great story with it. Hope Springs comes peeking through for you soon! :)
The outdoor life is nice on the warmer sunnier days... Poor moose... Thanks for sharing
Debra,
Wow! Those are some interesting photos with lots of that white powdery stuff! There is nothing to detract a hungry moose from eating. May both you and the moose hang in there! No longer how long winter is, spring is sure to follow. :)
Hello all! yes one day Spring will come but not today... that is for sure.. we have had a real snow event here.. closed the town down, the airport, everything...even Bay Realty... but the moose are still out there eating!
Hi Debra...........if it makes you feel any better it was really, really cold in Florida this year ;-) While we didn't get snow in Central Florida, they did get some in North Florida. We were actually in the teens one night here.
You might not have enjoyed the extra snow but the photos are terrific and that's a moose with a silver lining. Hang in...........spring is on the way.
