Bay Realty Blog: Eagle Alert on the Homer Spit...Homer Alaska

Eagle Alert on the Homer Spit...Homer Alaska

Today started out rainy, slick and dreary... Rain on snow is treacherous... slide and go...

SO we went out to the Spit to have lunch at Happy Face restaurant (really good food)

And I lucked out and met a new friend...

He was just sitting out at the edge of the water...

Happy in the Sun that had finally come out...

We sat there together for a while....

Debra,

They'll be nesting soon in the Verde Canyon, and I'm going up to take some photos.  Thanks for keeping your camera close by!

Hi Debra, That is one creature I could never get tired of looking out. I have always had a fascination with this bird.

I think I'm genuinely additcted to your blog Debra.  Yesterday, I found myself feeling wistful as I looked at the snow on the mountains in SoCal.  I was scolding myself for not having a camera to take the pictures and share with you and the rest of Active Rain.

Debra, I've said it before; your photos never fail to entertain.  Occasionally I get to see Eagles in Wisconsin, but I can never get close enough to take any good pictures.
