Moose Monday and a Reveal to Name that Photo

Moose in Anchor Point Alaska

Russel Ray either actually sees one of them or he has a very vivid imagination.....

they are not reindeer but the mighty moose....

Hunkered down for awhile to sit out the storm...

Moose in Anchor Point Alaska

They sat quietly munching away covered in snow

Then suddenly got up to take the journey down the hill

The Reveal was just in time for Moose Monday

You have to admire these wonderful creatures. They deal with the snow like we wish we could.

Moose Monday! I love it Debra! It's okay to get a lot of snow regularly if you have moose around.

Debra:

I've only seen a live moose in the wild once and that was in Montana.  The head looked  like it belonged on a different body. I just stood real still and watched him watching me.  It was a wonderful moment.

What great pictures!!!

Debra,

You had lots of patience to wait and capture the last two photos.  But then again, once you spot them, you don't want to take your eyes off of them.  :)  Very nice photos!
