Anyone seen that show... tougher in Alaska? It is a pretty good show... our good friend Geo Beach goes from job to job and shows how earning a living in Alaska might be a little tougher than the average... whether it is mining for gold, ice trucking or working for power companies in below zero, wind blowing, mind numbing scenarios... there is always a little wrinkle to doing normal jobs in Alaska! I did tell him he should do a show on Realtors in Alaska...try finding corners in a blizzard....
For some reason I thought of Geo tonight when I saw these kids ride by....
Kids are a little tougher in Alaska

Oh Yeah...... On the Beach.....

Hello Debra, Thank You for sharing this great post with our group. The colors in your photos correctly depict the temperature there. Burrrrr.
I was not acquainted with Geo but through your link , I am now and very interesting story of the man and his quest.
Having visited Alaska, the one thing I am reminded of is that Life in Alaska is LARGE. Taking photos and trying to illustrate it is complicated because of the size of things. Texans boast of it but truthfully, Life Lives Extra Large in Alaska. Thank you again for bringing Geo to us.
Anytime Roy..thank you for stopping by..
