Walking on the beach at Lands End of the Homer Spit we spotted this bird....

supposed to be from New Zealand...
it always amazes me how many birds come here from all over the world to spend the summer and hang out in Homer Alaska... Birds like Homer just as much as people do...

we get people from all over the world too!
Some people call Homer the 8th Wonder of the world... maybe a stretch...but it sure is pretty here... and still very affordable.. You can still buy a piece of paradise. Right here right now!

Thanks for sharing. What a great place to visit. Wish I were there. Have a great weekend.
I went to Homer a couple of years ago and wanted to go halibut fishing. Missed the season by one week darn it.......but will be back one day. Truly God's country.
Truly a long distance bird. Amazing how they migrate around the world, isn't it.
Beautiful pictures of Home too!
