The Homer Alaska Jackpot Halibut Derby is the largest derby in the land!
Saturday a new leader emerged... Jamie Olvera from Fairbanks Alaska.... She reeled in a whopping 277.6 pound Halibut!
Unless someone pulls up a bigger fish by Tuesday she will win the monthly prize of 1,000 and
an extra $500 for the Lady Angler monthly prize.
