Homer Alaska Annual Winter King Fishing Tournament is ON!
The Stars are out tonight so maybe the weather will be perfect tomorrow
And sure maybe a few people had to dig their boats out from under 10 foot of snow....
And yes there is some ice picking going on out there to get the boats away from the docks and out to sea...
But hey it is WINTER KING Fishing and some say there is no better time to be fishing....
Over 100 people have entered the tourney which starts at 9 AM Saturday morning... first day of Spring...
lets hope it is nice with and they don't have to break too much ice out of the harbor to make their way to the fishing grounds!
